GM DRCE Pro Stock Deluxe Engine Kit
Pull your next drag build up to the lights with the first generation 500ci Oldsmobile/GM Drag Racing Competition Engine. Based on the big block Chevy, this engine was designed specifically for drag racing and features many components tailored for straight-line competition. Also features optional parts to configure for a more streetable or Pro-Mod style build, including alternator and single 4 barrel sheet metal style intake manifold.
The details in this engine kit are sure to make your heart race. Would make a great diorama piece as well with highly detailed cylinder heads including valve springs and combustion chamber details, block with main bearing caps and an optional engine oil pan with baffle (PLEASE NOTE-IF INSTALLING BAFFLED OIL PAN ON AN ASSEMBLED ENGINE MINOR MODIFICATIONS TO MAIN BEARING CAPS MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PROPER CLEARANCE).
Our Deluxe DRCE Engine kit also includes a labeled plate of all AN fittings required for detailed plumbing of oil, cooling and fuel systems, all conveniently labeled for location. Does NOT include transmission, transmissions are available in drivetrain catagory. Recommended options are either Chevy PowerGlide automatic or a Lenco option.
Comes in raw resin, some minor sanding and finishing required as well as assembly and adapting to kit being used. Please note- there are many very small fragile parts. The AN fittings are rather delicate and will be shipped on supports on build plate. Many fittings will come off of supports using very gentle finger pressure. You can also carefully use nippers or tweezers to aid in removal.
